There are so many quotes about children and inspiration. It is hared to choose one. I often think if society would read these more that our children would become more of a priority than a given. I feel that we take advantage of the lives of these little souls. These children need much direction and nurturing as well as we all do as we progress into our adult lives.
I really like what Mother Theresa says, "The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread". If we stop trying so hard to have everything look a certain way and use natural instinct with the assistance of education and knowledge from one another will begin to create a trustworthy, peaceful environment for children and all involved to live in.
Dr. Suess is another person who gives great quotes about life and children. This quote by Dr. Suess, "A person's a person, no matter how small." is so true. children are people and no matter the age or the size. Through the years there has been much research about children. In early years little people were just cute and cuddly until they were of a age around entering school. Many times there was no much interaction. Dr. Suess in my opinion has always thought of all as important no matter what size, age, color, or personality. He always found a learning moment in all.
I am thankful that we have such great scholars that are researching and teaching us that there is so much to learn about the human development and brain. Children are our future as we as adults are our future. It will take all of us day by day to do our part to nurture and create the opportunities for these children to grow and develop to the highest potential in their lives.
There have been many things we have studied this course. Labeling is one. As i was reflecting back and remembering about what we do to label ourselves and children I came across this video. It made me think. I believe that the video explains itself. http://youtu.be/Wv49RFo1ckQ
